Welcome to
Robot Mowers Surrey Ltd

Supplying Segway Naviomow, Luba, FJ Dynamics and Ambrogio robots.

Advice, Sales, Installation,
Servicing
and Parts.

A revolution in lawn maintenance is underway, and Robot Mowers Surrey can help you join in with the benefits. RTK Satellite-navigated robots are now offering an alternative to perimeter-wire models, although the latter still have their place in certain situations.

My name is Richard and I have been a gardener for over fifteen years, mostly concentrating on regular garden maintenance. Inevitably a large part of my work has been mowing lawns. However, for the last few years I have been recommending and installing robot mowers, as I can’t compete with the quality of service these robots provide!

I supply the Segway Navimow, Luba and FJ Dynamics Robotic Mowers range for the RTK perimeter wire-free option - using satellite and 4G navigation to 2"/5cm navigation accuracy (see my shop site) - and Ambrogio Robots for the perimeter wire navigation (still the best option for many situations). Ambrogio also offer two excellent "drop & mow" robots requring neith wire or RTK reference stations (see Products Page).

I can also supply the budget-priced Cobra Mowbot robot mowers, and indeed can install any brand of robot mower as the process is very similar for all.

As well as supplying and installing robot mowers, I also supply parts and offer and servicing and trouble-shooting service. Please contact me with any queries.

I also supply the whole of the EGO range of battery-powered garden tools, details on request.

Robot Mower?

Time and Money

Compared with the cost of paying someone to cut your lawn, Ambrogio robot mowers usually pay for themselves within two years. Or if you mow your lawn yourself, think of the hours every year you will save. Better still, because the robots cut little and often (every day is advisable during the growing season) the lawn always looks newly cut and neat, rather than just for the couple of days after it is done.

Eco-Friendly

Robot mowers, being electric and using very little energy, are an environmentally friendly choice. Petrol mower engines are horrendously polluting – up to 10x more so than petrol cars! And robots are “mulching mowers” meaning that the tiny grass clippings are left on the lawn to rot down and help feed your lawn. You won’t notice them –because robots cut so often the clippings are too small to look untidy, but they will mean you need 25% less lawn fertiliser to keep your lawn well nourished. And you will no longer have piles of grass cuttings to deal with.

Future-proof and Efficient

You can update your Luba or Ambrogio robot mower with the latest software releases via your phone, so it continually benefits from technological improvements as they're developed.
To work to maximum potential and efficiency they first need to be installed and set up optimally. Every garden is different, and every garden owner’s needs are different, so I use my experience of gardening and customer service to help garden owners choose the right robot and installation plan for their circumstances. Getting Started:
lawn survey and installation plan

The first thing we’ll need to do to decide which model of robot mower will be right for you is to measure the size of your lawn area(s). You can do this from the Measure My Lawn page. We then need to know the layout of your garden, how many lawn areas you have, how they are connected, etc. This is best done by me visiting your garden; but sometimes we can get a fairly good idea using a satellite view and asking you a few questions over the phone. I will then review your garden to decide where the robot’s base charging station should be positioned, and how the perimeter wire will be laid out.

If you have more than one lawn area we’ll need to use the combined measurements to choose your model. For example, if your back lawn is 1000m² and your front lawn 500m² you’ll need a robot that can handle 1500m².

Once you know the approximate area you can go to the Products page to see which Ambrogio robots are appropriate (Luba robots to be added soon!.

And of course, I don't only cover Surrey: I also sell and install robot mowers in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Middlesex and London - and have gone even further afield on occasions.
